About Tales from the Fiddle Tree
Contributors:
The folklore department at Lysenko Conservatory in L'viv, Ukraine, who shared their methods and then included me on their song-gathering trips in 2003. Special thanks to Professor Vasyl' Koval and translator Iryna Fedun.
Ivan Andreiiovich, mountain fiddler, who taught me the Hutsul sound. (Ivan fiddled on the CD that won the Eurovision contest in 2003: Ruslana's, "Wild Dances". Ruslana also took advice from the Lysenko folklore department.)
